What You Should Bring

Unsigned Document(s)

Ensure you bring your completed but unsigned documents that need notarization.

Witnesses

If your document requires witnesses, be sure to bring them with you.

Valid Identification

Provide a current, unexpired government-issued ID with both a photo and signature. Acceptable IDs include a driver’s license, state ID card, U.S. military ID, or passport.

What We Cannot Notarize

Pre-Signed Documents

Documents that have already been signed cannot be notarized, as the Notary Public must witness the signing.

Non-English Documents

We are unable to notarize documents written in languages other than English.

Incomplete Documents

Documents with blank spaces (except for the signature field) cannot be notarized.

Certified Copies of Certain Records

We cannot create certified copies of vital records or public records, such as birth certificates, marriage licenses, or similar documents retained by governmental entities.

What is the purpose of a Notary Public?
A Notary Public ensures the authenticity of legal documents by verifying the identity of signers and preventing fraud.
While walk-ins may be accepted, scheduling an appointment ensures availability and faster service.
  • Make sure your documents are completely filled out, except for the signature blanks. We cannot notarize a document with blank spaces.
  • Do not sign your documents beforehand. The notary needs to witness you signing your document.
  • Bring a photo I.D. with you. The notary will need to verify your identity.
  • If you are bringing witnesses with you, please ask them to bring their photo I.D.s
  • Please note: In accordance with the state law, the Notary will ask you to sign their Notary Public Record Book. Service for customers who decline to sign the Record Book will not be provided.
